What We Do

Urban Cottage Studio designs places across scales — from homes and interiors to neighbourhoods, public spaces and landscapes. Our work spans residential architecture, interior architecture, urban design, landscape design, homestead and farmhouse design, and community and place-making, always rooted in climate, culture, material and the character of Goa.

Design Philosophy

We believe design is more than creating buildings. It is the practice of creating places, experiences and relationships that make everyday life more meaningful. Every project begins with people, climate, material and memory, not with a style to impose.

Process

  • Listening & site immersion: understanding the land, the light and the life that will happen there.
  • Concept & story: shaping an idea that belongs to the site and the people who will live in it.
  • Design development: drawings, materials and details resolved with care.
  • Construction & craft: close collaboration with builders and artisans through to completion.
